Swobbee is the “gas station” for e-bikes and mopeds. Swobbee has battery swapping stations across the city, so riders don’t have to wait for their batteries to charge. Swap at the nearest station and keep riding.

Two stations on Broadway
A hub in Lower Manhattan runs two Swobbee Stations for delivery riders on the battery subscription. The cabinets are named manman and Gustavo.
Swobbee operates 16 active stations: 14 in New York City and 2 in Jersey City (as of 1 October 2026), with some sites hosting multiple stations.

Nothing! Swobbee will cover the cost of installation, handle all relevant permitting processes, and cover any ongoing costs, including maintenance and electricity.
We have a 24/7 service hotline where you can report any issues. We also monitor the stations remotely, so most issues are spotted on our side. Customers with questions can call the same hotline or use the Swobbee App.
Delivery riders with a Swobbee battery subscription use our stations. Most of them deliver food for the major delivery apps.
We ask that you keep the station for at least 6 months. If problems come up, we’ll find a solution together. After 6 months, we will remove the station if you do not want to re-sign.
Of course! If you know another good location and we can set up a station there, you’ll also receive a $200 bonus.
